I was doing my usual round up this morning to prepare for the cleaning lady. And lo and behold, there was yellow at the bottom of my daughter’s potty. I have been setting her on it for a few months now (she’s 18 months old).

Every night before her bath, after she is stripped down, she sits on her potty. Granted, I have to sit on the big potty to keep her company and we both have to the have toilet tissue in hand. But nothing has ever flowed forth. It was all a game. Until last night. I didn’t even know it. Which is probably a good thing as my gushing and praise would have freaked her out.

Upon my discovery this morning, I immediately texted my husband the good news. Yeah! Our daughter is a genius because she peed in her potty.

Don’t go there. The only reason I even know the name is because I looked it up. I had thankfully forgotten about this place until I realized I had not blogged in a while. It’s at 1400 S State.

There were 6 of us so we ordered 5 dishes and a soup. I figured there was no way that everything could be bad. Well, it was. We ordered a Pad Thai and a Chow Fun kind of thing. The Pad Thai was too sour. Too much vinegar. The Chow Fun not so good. It was blah and flavorless. We also got the mussaman. Can’t go wrong with Mussaman. Well, apparently, you can.

I am losing hope here. I have been to not so good Thai places in San Jose where the Pad Thai is at least good. This is the second bad Thai place I’ve been to here in Salt Lake.

The next Thai place we will visit is Bangkok Thai on Foothill. Don’t know when though. Higher on my list is trying Golden Dragon for dinner.

I have always wanted to show pics of the food. And now I can. I just bought a new phone, the Samsung A900. It has a pretty good camera so hopefully the pics will do the food justice.
